Personality:

- Science nerd. This means that Jetfire is more geared for scientific pursuits rather than being some kind of warrior. It's not that he doesn't have the capability to put up a good fight ( most of his frame actually IS armor ), it's that his temperament really isn't suited for it. Proof of this is how many times he has been in battle with Starscream specifically, but yet doesn't ever land a finishing blow, even when he could. It stands to reason that Jetfire might not be able to for anyone. Jetfire also has a bad habit of rambling about sciency things that no one can follow or is interested in.

- Slow to anger and patient. There are few times that Jetfire has actually ever lost his temper. He had been Starscream's partner and friend - and once a Decepticon himself - so if that isn't a trial in patience and understanding, I'm not really sure what is. The point is, that he can tolerate and put up with most things that are thrown his way, be they the undesirable personality traits of others or insults thrown directly at him. What he doesn't seem to put up with is if such things are aimed at other people. Case in point: he has told Starscream to behave when the guy started to get snippy with some of the other Autobots.

- Jetfire's loyalties are not with his faction alignment. He is an Autobot because of moral stance alone, not necessarily because Autobots are in the right. Jetfire often looks beyond the badge if something bigger is going on. This happens when he goes to attempt to meet Shockwave for the betterment of all Cybertronians and again when dealing with Sunstorm. In the end, Jetfire is loyal to what would be best for all Cybertronians, not just Autobots or Decepticons.

- Witty, knowingly or otherwise. Jetfire has a rather dry sense of humor when he chooses to show it. Usually it is in puns or word plays. Most of the time, he says things that are to be taken completely out of context.

- Agnostic at best. Here Jetfire had been witness to the Fallen and to Primus... Yet he refuses to believe that Primus actually exists.
